Jeff Sidney’s moiré tech involves layering very thin stringers of different colored glass on top of each other in a way that causes an optical illusion of moving lines as you turn the piece. 

This one features a nice royal purple moiré on top of a dark core capped off by a silver dot on one end and a cobalt blue dot on the other.
